Flush Memorials
These memorials are set flush with the ground. The most common individual size is 24" in length by 12" and 3-4" thick. The most common companion size is 36"in length by 12" and 3-4" thick.

If required by the cemetery, these markers can be set in a cement apron (typically 4" or 6") which helps to keep them from sinking and for protection of the edges of the marker from lawnmowing.

Check with the cemetery regarding their rules and restrictions about cement aprons.

Appropriate for single graves, companion graves, family graves, child or infant graves, or cremation markers.

Pillow or Bevel Memorials
Pillow memorials are typically 6" or 8" thick at the back with a taper to 4" or 6" at the front. The most common individual size is 24" in length by 12" by 6". The most common companion size is 36" by 12" by 6". Pillow markers must be set on a cement slab foundation, to prevent sinking.

Appropriate for single graves, companion graves, family graves, child or infant graves, or cremation markers.

These memorials are typically 6" or 8" thick at the back with a taper to 4" or 6" at the front. The most common individual size is 24" in length by 12" by 6". The most common companion size is 36" by 12" by 6".


Polished Face, Serpentine Top. Rock Nose, Sawed Back
The wedge or slant memorial is an upright memorial that is wide at the bottom (10" thick) gradually narrowing to 3" at the top. This style memorial can be set directly on a cement foundation or you can purchase a granite base separately. The most common individual size is 24" in length, 10" wide at bottom and 16" in height. Companion size: 36" long, 10" wide and 16" in height.

Upright Memorials/Monuments
Upright monuments are usually 6 or 8" thick, but again, can be whatever thickness you would like. The most common individual monument size is 24"' long, 18" in height and 6" thick. The top panel sits on a 36" long base. The most common size companion monument is 36' long, 18" in height and 6" thick, sitting on a 48' base. They come in a variety of sizes and shapes, rough or polished edges. Upright monuments also allow additional design space on the back side of the marker.

Upright Monuments are appropriate for single graves, companion graves, family graves, community memorials. They are also frequently used for building or church signs, businesses such as golf courses or parks, tributes to military service, gardens, and many other applications.

Natural Rock Memorials
Natural rock memorials are rough natural rocks. The bottom is sawed flat and they come in random sizes and contours. An approximate size and shape will be requested. Typical sizes are 3' x 18" x 20" deep, 4' x 18" x 24" deep, 5' x 24" x 30" deep. Larger sizes can be ordered. These are appropriate for businesses, schools, parks, golf courses, and natural sites.

The bottom is sawed and they come in random sizes and contours. An approximate size and shape will be requested.
